This is just a message to thank you for the inspiration and assistance you have provided our family on our healing journey since my husband experienced very serious kidney and heart issues and a stroke and had an organ transplant. We have read your books, own your CD, attended 3 workshops and tune in to some remote healing sessions. Our health challenges are still present (at least on X-rays and ultrasounds and things like that) and considered chronic by the doctors, but my husband's recovery so far has been much better than the original diagnoses predicted, and he has an absolutely normal lifestyle today that is almost symptom free. He has recovered well from these experiences that kind of felt like the "dark night of the soul" experience that happened very suddenly like the ones one reads about in metaphysical literature that is said to somtimes precede enlightenment. Fine one moment in an ordinary way and then in a living hell the next -- and then back out again with a greater understanding of reality and value for existence because you survived the worst of it, and you know that it can probably never get that bad again because your perception has been changed by the experience. Not that were anything close to enlightened! I'm not sure that I believe one ever completely reaches that in this lifetime anyway, at least not constantly, but I also now believe from our experience that physical sickness can sometimes be the catalyst to a better life and understanding of it while we're still in it. Had we not gone through those illnesses (easy for me to say since I'm not the one who was actually sick) and recovered to the point where we are today, I doubt that I would have ever felt compelled to pick up books like Dreamhealer and others that opened a whole new world and all the exciting and benevolent possibilities that go with it. Looking back, I think I can see that I was being prepared for it beforehand, too, but didn't recognize it when it was happening. I think it was my own chronic but far-less but serious health matters that made me pick up things like Dreamhealer books, so that when the big, bad illnesses struck my family, I did at least have some knowledge and information to lead me to expedite my exploration outside conventional medicine. I feel confident that the Dreamhealer-type work we did, along with other alternative modalities, are a huge part of my husband's outstanding recovery so far. I still hope for a complete cure so that we won't have to live with the "what if's" hanging over our heads anymore, but I probably wouldn't have room for hope at all if we only listened to conventional wisdom/medicine because they did not expect my husband to recover as much as he has. And his labs keep getting better -- almost normal in some areas -- 3 years after the transplant which they tell us is very uncommon. One doctor told us, "whatever you're doing, keep doing it" just because he's doing so well. Like us, I suspect that most folks wish they could have personal treatment by Dreamhealer when they learn of his abilities. But just by being exposed to his ideas, words and workshops, I was inspired to seek out other gifted healers for my family while continuing to self-treat. But I just never felt that on our own we could come anywhere near close to what Dreamhealer might be able to do for us. And I'm the type that when I attended the workshops, I never particularly felt anything during the healing treatment portion of the program. I didn't doubt Dreamhealer at all. The sincerity and ability was obvious. And I believed him that we all have similar ability within each of us. But I doubted my personal ability to access mine. But the proof in in the pudding. We have done the work -- and sometimes not even very diligently because having so many serious illnesses at one time takes up a lot of your time, not to mention money and other forms of energy -- but since doing that work, and coming back to it when we have lapsed, health has been restored. Still not completely disease-free according to the docs, but I have hope and faith that even that is possible, too, despite the docs who say it is impossible. And for now, we'll take symptom-free and be very grateful for it cuz it sure beats dialysis, transplants, ablations, emergency vehicles, paddles pumping electricity into your chest to revive you ... etc. We've come a long way since then in the last 3 1/2 years, and I deeply believe that the journey would not have been as successful as it had been without the inspiration, knowledge, hope, guidance, treatment and blessing that came from Dreamhealer and the other places being exposed to him took us. Our eternal gratitude for that. Thank you. Forever grateful.
