Hi Adam, I just thought I would take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself and tell you about my experience following your workshop in January 2007. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 3 breast cancer on October 31, 2006, I had a partial mastectomy and axillary node dissection on Nov 13/06 and the surgery was successful in that all of the margins were clear. The cancer was found in the nodes so I am currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments (I have completed 4 of 6) and them I will undergo 25 radiation treatments. I am doing fine and am very positive. I believe that the cancer has gone from my body as a result of the successful surgery and that in following medical advise the chemo and radiation are aimed at decreasing the possibility of recurrence. I am also actively reading your books and others, I am involved in various sessions at Wellspring (a cancer support organization) like Chi Gong, Ti Chi, Spiritual Journey, etc. To begin my story, I had my first chemo treatment on Jan 5th and was scheduled to have the next one on Friday Jan 16th. My sister heard that you were coming to Mississauga on Jan 18/07 and just decided to book two tickets, not knowing if I would be able to attend your session if I was too ill from the chemo. But, when I had my blood work done on the day before the 16th, my white blood cell count was way too low and so my treatment was postponed until the following week. So my sister and I attended your session. We had read some of your books and watched the DVD of the visualizations to prepare ourselves (another sister and my Mom had attended one of your sessions in Vancouver a couple of years ago and were instrumental in sharing about you). My intentions were to accept your healing and continue to believe that the cancer had left my body but I wanted to learn to visualize to remind my cells to work properly and not allow any new cancer cells to develop. As well, I have been a migraine sufferer for years and when you recounted the story of how you healed your mother, I concentrated on that visual -- pulling the green mass out of her head and doing away with the headaches. I visualize daily and continue to draw the healing powers to my head and remind my cells to work properly. I have not had a migraine since your session. I have to say that due to my last chemo treatment which is a new drug, I have had pressure all over my head but it was not a migraine and I continued to visualize when I had this pressure and I was able to deal it and not have to resort to medications. I just want to say thank you. You obviously are a special person with wonderful healing powers and I thank you for sharing it with us. I have 2 daughters, 14 and 18 and as a parent I know how proud I am of them and I know your parents feel the same about you. I wish you all the best in your studies and your goal to combine your healing powers with a medical background is a wonderful goal and one in which will bring more legitimacy to you and your teachings.
